About Us
We are a voluntary team of year 9 students from Mount St Benedict College. We are all students who are passionate about making the world a better place. CmPs (Community Problem Solving) is a great place to help our community and make a difference. From being a part of this project we have all learnt so many new things and learnt and built on so many skills. This project allowed us to realise the importance of sufficient nutrients. We learnt that without the nutrients we need, daily activities like working hard in school can become very difficult.
What is FPS?
Future Problem Solving is a competition which organizes academic competitions where students apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to real life problems which they believe are worth solving. The "4 C's" as they are called (Communication, Collaboration, Creative Thinking, and Critical Thinking), are what Future Problem Solving aims to develop in young people.
The Problem
Students are not having sufficient food at breakfasts/morning tea, meaning they are not sustained enough through the day. This is leading to poorer performance in class, less concentration and slower cognitive function. We aim to fix this.
